6 Things That Always Get Lost In Nigerian Homes

We are convinced that that thing has a mind of its own! One minute it’s beside you. The next minute, it’s gone. If you’re living alone, you can just give up on looking for it and watch movies on your laptop or something but when you’re living with your parents, it’s a different ball game together. You’ll search and search and search and you will not find it. Odd thing is that you’ll often find it in the most unexpected place.

This one also does not make any type of sense. You bought the bowl with the cover. You used the bowl with the cover. You washed the bowl with the cover. And you put aside the bowl with the cover. Now that you want to use it again, you cannot find it. There’s really only one explanation… Ghosts.

Do you remember when you were younger and one of the pairs will get missing and your parents will not stop screaming at you for being careless? The next question that follows is “Do you think money grows on trees?” Sigh!

By now the phone is lying somewhere laughing at you for searching throughout the house. These phones usually get missing because… well, they’re yams and you don’t use them for anything apart from maybe mobile money so you usually do not carry them around.

As for some of you, the reason why you keep getting to work late is that you cannot find your keys… always. You’ve tried with the key holder but noooppee! Same problem day in day out.
